Globe’s Mobile Power Source Transformer is designed and manufactured for use either in a workshop or on site. The Globe Power source transformer has been designed with ease of movement, stability and servicing in mind, and has gathered a reputation for being extremely reliable throughout the world. Each of our Heat Treatment Machines is built around our extremely reliable air natural cooled Class H Transformer coils. The coils include a thermostat in each leg that are wired to the over temperature trip circuit. Globe offer a range of Heat Treatment plant to match your needs and budget. As standard we keep three models of mobile transformer in stock with the option of 50 & 65Kva Transformer Coils in each. Our standard transformer, fig 1 incorporates six mini controllers, energy regulators and auto / manual switches that allow an external programmer to control all channels via either a 7 Pin Multi plug or single channel inputs, depending upon the programmer in use. This has been designed so the ‘Globe’ equipment can be used in conjunction with other brand of manufacturer. Our second option is the Globe Heat Treatment Transformer Incorporating a P256 temperature controller. The controller gives the technician the option to designate each channel to either a manual set-point or a HT Profile to cover both preheat and post weld procedures. The third option Globe offer is a Heat Treatment Transformer The Heat Manager System which has a touch screen interface covers all heat treatment procedures and also has the ability to use a Master / Slave option so any permutation of channels can be set to either a combined or single profile or manual set-point. The rear of each unit features 3 x 110V auxiliary sockets designed to power recording and programming devices, Thermocouple attachment unit (TAU) charge points or lighting etc. The rear panel of the unit also includes a ventilation fan and MCB switch. Globe carry a stock of the above Standard Heat Treatment Transformers, however should additional extra’s be required please contact us.
